Miyazaki Seagaia Forest Condominium 6 nights + 72 holes
7 Days / 6 Nights · From $899 / person
Start BookingOverview
Miyazaki's luxury golf week for a party of four, built around the Sunday Narita 12:15 → Miyazaki 14:30 flight. Dokumo's local staff meet you at the airport, stop at AEON Mall for 30 minutes so you can stock the kitchen, and drive you into Phoenix Seagaia Resort on the Pacific coast. Six nights in a Japanese-Western condominium at Seagaia Forest Condominiums (3rd to 5th floor) — about 72 ㎡ with twin beds and a tatami bedroom, living room, kitchen, powder room and balcony, one unit for the four of you — with the buffet breakfast every morning. Four rounds: three on the resort's own courses by the free resort shuttle — Phoenix Country Club, home of the Dunlop Phoenix Tournament, once, and the Tom Watson Golf Course twice — and one with your driver at UMK Country Club, the course that has hosted the JLPGA's AXA Ladies Golf Tournament in Miyazaki every year since 2013. The remaining day is yours: the resort's onsen, pool, horse riding, Segway and cycling, or an optional car into Miyazaki city. Miyazaki stays mild all winter — daytime highs of about 13–17°C (55–62°F) from December to March. Fly back to Narita on the 15:25 flight, or home from Miyazaki via Seoul. From $899 per person for a party of four, priced per departure date.

Before You Go
Everything Americans ask us
The practical stuff, answered before you think to ask. Full guides come with your booking.
Passport & Entry
US citizens can visit Japan visa-free for up to 90 days. Your passport just needs to be valid for the length of your stay. Fill out Visit Japan Web before you fly to skip the paper forms.
Airport Arrival
Most US flights land at Haneda (closer) or Narita (about 60–90 min out). Your trip includes a private transfer — your driver meets you at arrivals with a name board.
eSIM & Connectivity
An unlimited-data eSIM is included with your trip. We send the QR code before departure — activate it when you land and you're online at the gate.
Getting Around
Tokyo's trains are the best in the world and Google Maps handles them perfectly. Trains stop around midnight; taxis are clean, safe, and take cards.
IC Card (Suica)
One tap-to-pay card covers every train, bus, vending machine, and convenience store. Yours comes preloaded, or add Suica to Apple Wallet before you leave home.
Cash & Cards
Cards work almost everywhere now, but small izakaya and shrines are cash-only. 7-Eleven ATMs accept US cards. ¥10,000–20,000 in cash per person is plenty to start.
Tipping Etiquette
Don't tip — anywhere, ever. It's not rude to skip it; it's rude to insist. Great service is the default and it's already in the price.
Restaurant Etiquette
Wait to be seated, say 'sumimasen' to call staff, and slurping noodles is fine. Many small places seat 8–10 people — that's the charm, not a downgrade.
Luggage Forwarding
Japan's takkyubin service ships your suitcase hotel-to-hotel (or to the airport) overnight for about $15. Travel with a day bag and let your luggage meet you there.
Emergency Information
Dial 110 for police, 119 for ambulance/fire. Japan is one of the safest countries on earth. Your 24/7 English support line is on your trip card for anything at all.
Japanese Basics
Konnichiwa (hello), arigatou gozaimasu (thank you), sumimasen (excuse me / sorry / call the waiter — the most useful word in Japan). English signage is everywhere in Tokyo.
