Overview

Golf and freedom, no hotel attached. Two 18-hole rounds on mid-to-upper-grade courses — one around Tokyo, chosen by your Dokumo designer to fit your hotel's location, and one with Mt. Fuji views (Nishi Fuji, River Fuji, Fuji Chisan, Fuji G8 or equivalent). Green fees and cart are included and rounds are self-drive. A 60-hour rental car is picked up at 08:00 on day 1 and returned to the same location by 20:00 on day 3. Runs on weekdays, Oct 13 – Dec 15, 2026 and Mar 25 – Dec 15, 2027. Priced per person for a party of 4; parties of 3 and 2 are welcome with a small supplement (+$15 / +$30 per person). Hotel not included — bring your own or ask us to quote one.

Passport & Entry

US citizens can visit Japan visa-free for up to 90 days. Your passport just needs to be valid for the length of your stay. Fill out Visit Japan Web before you fly to skip the paper forms.

Most US flights land at Haneda (closer) or Narita (about 60–90 min out). Your trip includes a private transfer — your driver meets you at arrivals with a name board.

Getting Around

Tokyo's trains are the best in the world and Google Maps handles them perfectly. Trains stop around midnight; taxis are clean, safe, and take cards.

Cash & Cards

Cards work almost everywhere now, but small izakaya and shrines are cash-only. 7-Eleven ATMs accept US cards. ¥10,000–20,000 in cash per person is plenty to start.

Tipping Etiquette

Don't tip — anywhere, ever. It's not rude to skip it; it's rude to insist. Great service is the default and it's already in the price.

Restaurant Etiquette

Wait to be seated, say 'sumimasen' to call staff, and slurping noodles is fine. Many small places seat 8–10 people — that's the charm, not a downgrade.

Luggage Forwarding

Japan's takkyubin service ships your suitcase hotel-to-hotel (or to the airport) overnight for about $15. Travel with a day bag and let your luggage meet you there.

Emergency Information

Dial 110 for police, 119 for ambulance/fire. Japan is one of the safest countries on earth. Your 24/7 English support line is on your trip card for anything at all.

Japanese Basics

Konnichiwa (hello), arigatou gozaimasu (thank you), sumimasen (excuse me / sorry / call the waiter — the most useful word in Japan). English signage is everywhere in Tokyo.
