Day 01
Depart the US
Fly from your US gateway to Tokyo (Narita or Haneda).
Day 02
Tokyo → Kagoshima
Land at Narita or Haneda and connect to a domestic flight to Kagoshima. Dokumo's local staff meet you at Kagoshima Airport and take you to your hotel in Tenmonkan; the evening is yours.
Day 03
Golf: Kagoshima round 1, Tenmonkan
Breakfast at the hotel, then 18 holes at one of Chiran, Nangoku or Kagoshima Garden. Back in town, stroll Tenmonkan's arcades and restaurants.
Day 04
Golf: Kagoshima round 2, on to Miyazaki
Breakfast, then 18 holes at another of the three courses. After the round your driver takes you to Miyazaki, stopping at AEON Mall so you can stock up, and you check in to Seagaia Forest Condominiums.
Day 05
Golf: Phoenix Country Club
Breakfast at the resort, then the free resort shuttle to Phoenix Country Club for 18 holes with a caddie. Afterwards: onsen, pool and the resort's activities.
Day 06
Golf: Tom Watson Golf Course
18 holes on the resort's Tom Watson course by the free shuttle; the rest of the day is yours at the resort.
Day 07
Golf: UMK Country Club
Your driver takes you to UMK Country Club and back for 18 holes. Free time at the resort — onsen, pool, activities.
Day 08
Miyazaki → Tokyo
Breakfast, then to Miyazaki Airport for your flight to Narita or Haneda. The Airport Limousine bus takes you to your hotel in central Tokyo, and your Real Tokyo begins.

Passport & Entry

Getting Around
Tokyo's trains are the best in the world and Google Maps handles them perfectly. Trains stop around midnight; taxis are clean, safe, and take cards.

Cash & Cards
Cards work almost everywhere now, but small izakaya and shrines are cash-only. 7-Eleven ATMs accept US cards. ¥10,000–20,000 in cash per person is plenty to start.
Tipping Etiquette
Don't tip — anywhere, ever. It's not rude to skip it; it's rude to insist. Great service is the default and it's already in the price.
Restaurant Etiquette
Wait to be seated, say 'sumimasen' to call staff, and slurping noodles is fine. Many small places seat 8–10 people — that's the charm, not a downgrade.
Luggage Forwarding
Japan's takkyubin service ships your suitcase hotel-to-hotel (or to the airport) overnight for about $15. Travel with a day bag and let your luggage meet you there.
